While Goodfellas had made me think I highly dislike gangster movies, this movie made me realize that the genre can be quit likable. These two movies came out the same year and share the same genre so I can't stop comparing them. my unpopular opinion is that King of New York is much superior to Goodfellas in every way.

Not that it was a bad movie, It was very mediocre in every way: In story telling and the story itself, in acting and... . the start was very interesting but as the movie went on, you just couldn't see any further depth to characters, there did not exist one complicated character in that movie. everyone just seemed so one dimensional and also relationships between people and between couples felt so artificial and madeup. the story itself was not that strong either, on some parts it was really predictable like the thing with max. best thing about this movie was watching Alex Skarsgard, but then again it would have been better if was a better movie!
