(i am not diagnosed with any dissociative disorder, but instead a endogenic system.) as a system of 46 alters, we despise this movie like hell. the movie doesnt deal the disorder any justice in representation whatsoever. the way it heavily latches onto the "evil alter" "all systems are violently unpredictable" stereotype is honestly crazy, and the amount of uneducated people that are gonna think this is how every system works BECAUSE OF THOSE STEREOTYPES is probably even crazier. it didnt educate ANYBODY on anything. just rolled out more stigma and lies. so im gonna say it: SYSTEMS ARE NOT VIOLENT, PEDOPHILIC MURDERERS. if anything, we'd make our own movie to undo such an injustice. this movie is by far, the worst potrayal of a disorder we've ever seen. it was offensive, even to us, because of that. good acting, tho!
