So I stopped playing this game after fifa 15 and I just got back on (fifa 22). It’s hard to describe but the game feels much worse then when I was playing a lot around fifa 11-15. To start, there must be some coding in the game that favors the losing team or just a player who isn’t as good. Ive scored multiple times then off the kick off I’ll have about 3-4 defenders all literally run away to give up a break away goal. Another thing is the goalkeeping is just unrealistic and all over the place, I’m not sure if this has to do with that coding. It can be my own keeper or the opposing teams keeper but some games they will be unstoppable and the next you watch the keeper play dodgeball with the shots. A few other things are players feeling like they’re sliding, weird deflections that’ll speed up out of no where, shots hitting the bar 2-4 times straight, shots/passes going through people due to forced animations etc. It honestly seems like this game has somehow gotten worse over the years, we can’t be totally surprised considering FIFA and EA are the companies running this game. I would have never downloaded this if it wasn’t for free on the store. I mean madden is pretty much unplayable at this point, the last madden I tried was 20 and I mean my god it was BAD. You can play for free if you have ultimate pass as well but I wouldn’t even recommend trying it tbh, as badly as I want a good football game madden isn’t even close to being it. I’m guessing NHLs game has gone down the drain as well. It’s a shame but hopefully having EA, FIFA, and Konami making competing games will help. I think fifa can definitely turn it around but madden…I honestly think they need to go back to the drawing board. I won’t go into madden but I really loved the games growing up and they just slowing then quickly went downhill.
