★UPDATE ON AUGUST 12, 2024★ I did NOT know that Pearl was the prequel to "X", so now that I know they connect together, rewatching Pearl was much better and now I will have to watch X over again. But, definitely watch these movies in order, even though the movies were released vice versa. Then, MaXXXine is the ENWHORE, I MEAN ENCORE! TY WEST is doing a phenomenal job with this trilogy. The only great thing about this movie is Mia Goth. That girl can act! She reminds me of a darker version of the late & great, Shelley Duvall! Great visuals/cinematography. Would I watch it again? Prolly not (I DID, & IT'S BETTER KNOWING THE STORY MORE NOW!)

I love vampires! I usually dig vampire movies, but this one is definitely at the top of my list. It's fun, quirky, and not your usual run of the mill horror flick... Far from it actually, more of a comedy/romance. This was a surprisingly great little gem provided by Prime streaming service. The cast is exceptional~ lots of well known, great actors! The storyline was one that kept you hoping for the best and really the best ended up happening for all involved. Definitely worth watching and then over again!

I gave 2 stars for the cast and special cast cameos for narration and acting. It's quite an addictive, mind-numbing teen drama comedy revolving around an Indian girl; and navigating herself through love, sex, life, school, and her family. This show is by Mindy Kahling. I think most things Mindy Kahling does sucks major bungholes! Also, has alot of "woke" programming like the trans teacher, the gay bf, hidden written messages throughout the show... Once I saw that, I was over it.

This show is a gem! Chris O'Dowd is excellent and sexy funny! The cast is exceptional! This show really makes you think about your life and the path or paths we take and can take if we allow ourselves to be our true selves and discover the unknown. Really makes you think about life and I love shows like that. I really hope they have a Season 3. I heard the show is cancelled after Season 2, but I really hope the people see these amazing reviews that might change their minds?! I really loved watching this.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. However, I gave this one just to let my voice/opinion be heard about this oscar winning atrocity! This film is basically pedophilia under the guise of artistic expression. I could not even finish watching this movie! If pedophilia was not involved, it still was distasteful and disturbing. It's not worth your viewing pleasure, no pun intended. Emma Stone is questionable now to me.

I came across this book by happenstance. I am one of those people that gets drawn in by a book cover. ILLUSTRATION IS KEY!!!→for me, & this book has it! It's a children's book, yet adult too (meaning it's more page length than words). Obviously, this book looks dark, but the undertones hit on the emotional somewhat human? connection we look for and the isolation it can bring along the journey to finding it. This is a light read, very easy. Finished it in 15 mins or so. I did enjoy the book, but I felt like the author really gave up at the end. I felt like I could have gave it a better ending and maybe that was the author's intention.

I am not a huge fan of Batman, but I am obviously familiar with Batman. I decided to watch this on a whim one night. Right away, I knew I was going to like this film! It was surprisingly very well told & heartfelt for a cartoon. (I love cartoons, so this review may be a bit biased!). I would love to see another type, like "Merry Little Spiderman" and so on... That would be cute and interesting. (I would continue to watch, if done). But, anywho, *Merry Little Batman* was a wonderful start! 🦇 🌃

This movie shld not be a comedy bc I did not laugh one bit. However, I did chuckle to myself that whoever the costume designer was, chose to put Sydney Sweeney into every boob revealing outfit they could! The gossip talk was weird. I get what they were doing for the cinematic purpose, it just didn't jive well~ found it peculiar, at times. This movie was so hyped up and such a let down. I gave 2 stars, one for each of Sydney Sweeney's voluptuous breasts. They were really the REAL stars of the show! P.S.~ it also doesn't help that Glen Powell looks like Yung Gravy 🫢
