My first John Mayer album. I've heard of him, of course, just never bought in before. This guy I like to listen to on Instagram and 95.5 KLOS in Los Angeles, Christian James Hand he breaks down songs so you can see them from a different perspective. CJH has been there during the pandemic for himself and us just doing his thing, well, John Mayer found out about this guy and pops in on the chat sometimes. They are buddies now. CJH is a sweetheart and if he likes John Mayer, I got no reason to not listen. This album is very 80's styled, if you grew up during those times you know what that was like. What comes thru is a strong sweet playful soul who's had their share of heartbreak and joy and even though things are really really horrible right now, they have hope anyway and they just keep on going, to see what happens next.
