This book is such a treasure. Though it is well-researched, I find it magical and fascinating. In a way, it is an autobiography of the environment and its journey (and transformation) through its interaction with humanity.
It is also a unique way to learn about the history of New York City.
Thank you Sergey Kadinsky! This is one book I will certainly keep and share.
