while it wasn't an actual horror movie like i think most people were expecting, it was a really interesting and well told ghost story. the acting was wonderful, the setting was incredible to look at, and there were so many little pieces of the story to connect. i will say the ending felt a bit rushed and incomplete compared to the book, but overall enjoyed it. it's a movie i still think about even after a year

The best book to movie adaptation I’ve ever seen. I would’ve loved more but it was incredibly done for the time allotted. Beautiful visuals, amazing soundtrack, wonderful characters and wonderful acting from everyone.
