Although I'm not done reading the book, I do have something to say. The author writes well enough to maintain concentration throughout the book. We jump from superstitions, starting from the natural order to the middle topics, ceremonies and rituals, and a few more topics interspersed between the former and later--and finally ending with superstitions relating to the consumption of foods. The stories are broken down in small paragraphs that helps in concentrating on each story.
Overall, this was the right book to pick out from my B&N. The cover caught my eye, and because of my interests in the supernatural, it spurred me to read more into it until I picked it up heading homebound.
A 3 out of 5.
