Really disappointed. My 11 year old daughter is fascinated with Mary Anning and after seeing the filming happen in lyme she was really looking forward to the film. I watched it first due to the age 15 warning and she wont be watching it. This film missed its chance to tell the story of the strong, intelligent and independent woman that Mary was. It only very slightly touched on her struggles to be recognised as a scientist and her huge contributions to science. The film is almost completely fiction, not worth watching if you are hoping to learn anything about Mary Anning.
