A Disgusting Exercise in Whitewashed Bigotry This entire work is based on the dehumanizing lie that gay people are incapable of having healthy and moral relationships, that their sexual orientation is a sinful defect that shouldn't exist, and they are therefore disqualified from sharing romantic love or founding families. This is eliminationist theology, no different than that of racists who claimed obedient slaves would be made white in heaven. And in a world where LGBT kids suffer bullying and rejection from family, and are known to be more prone to suicidal ideation than their cishet peers, Hill's framing of queerness as a cross that will be relieved upon death is downright reckless and bloody. Bigots can smile, and use polite words, but the wages of their sin is death. Shame on Wesley Hill, and shame on anyone who carries this naziesque trash.
