Evan Peters plays Dahmer amazingly! I’ve always liked his characters in AHS as well. It’s hard to watch at times, just knowing this actually happened, but so good at the same time I just couldn’t stop watching it. It’s also frustrating a lot too, because of racism and homophobia he was so close to being caught many times, but was let go to go on and do the horrible things he did, such a shame… Overall very well done and being a true crime/thriller fan I got sucked in right away! Definitely agree with the comment of it being like a train wreck, just can’t look away… Also, I like how it shows the history of abuse he endured and the obvious signs he was troubled from a young age and suffered from some mental health issues as well and at that time it was just not well known about and treatment for these issues was kind of a joke. I don’t want it to sound like I’m giving him a pass or excuse for what he did at all, but maybe it will help shed some light on how critical mental health is and there’s so many people out there are suffering and are so desperate for help still to this day.
