I have to commend Tom Hanks again in this movie, when he takes on a project he always delivers on the character and then some. Tom plays a spy so well, wish he did more of these movies. Equally, Mark Rylance somehow delivers his lines in such a way that communicates an emotional nuance you wouldn’t think would be possible with the line. Bridge of Spies itself may have been quite boring if it wasn’t for the strong casting across the board.
