I think the film is beautiful. It captures simple minds of the children, and the more complex world from their father's perspective, with the two joining in the ending, being heartwarming and made me cry. First film to do so. Although it is in black and white, this film is a masterpiece and is really underrated today. Watch it if you are getting into iconic award winning films like Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan or even Joker or Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight.

Beautiful. This movie is really underrated! The film captures Arthur's pain and what led him to become Joker, which is also played well by Joaquin Phoenix. So well I say that he might be tied with Ledger now
