I didn't know what to expect with Pokรฉmon Legends: Arceus until the week before it came out. And even then, it took playing it to understand how enjoyable it is. Who knows if the fun will last, but I'm 25 hours in so far and it's fully grabbed my attention. It's not a perfect game, but if it lays the foundations for an open environment or open world mainline Pokรฉmon game, then it's a strong foundation.
