Triton is less than impressive. While persona seems fake and ingenuous. Awkafina is the worst. Her role as Scuttles and her horrible voice acting made me want to blow my head off as I sat there listening to her pointless rendition of the new song scuttlebutt. Even Sebastian is devoid of any personality and just rehashes some of the same old lines, minus the energy and flair. Ariel is really the only character that offered any sort of meaningful presence throughout the movie. Halle Bailey did a great job. Overall, it was tolerable, but will somebody please find a sock to shove in Akwafina’s mouth?
