David Gauthier

This series is almost completely different than the book. Don't get me wrong, it's entertaining in it's own right. But if you were looking forward to the complex, cerebral story, about the ebb and flow of human civilization that you read in the book, this ain't it. It has the obligatory romances and good -vs- evil plots/characters that are required in TV series nowadays. However, it does lack the foul language, most of the gore and nudity (bravo to that !) Because I expected something which paralleled the book, sort of at the level the Expanse did, I give it 3 stars. If I didn't have that expectation, I probably would have given it 4.
