Scamming trusting and vulnerable people is horrendous and only seems to be increasing with the new technology. There does not seem to be an effective deterrent as the perpetrators find new ways to deceive. Revenge for these victims may feel good, but this movie was over the top in excessive violence and unrealistic outcomes. The subject matter could have produced a really clever plot. I would almost call this movie corny because it was so ridiculous.
