Zero chemistry between leads. Acting sloppy and stiff. Boring script. Story super slow to develop and not at all interesting. No tension nor any passion nor captivating at all.

For the fact that the leads being a real couple there was ZERO chemistry between XuKai and Tan Songyun in this drama. Her character was boring, very irritating and smug. In ‘wonderland of love’ Xu Kai’s chemistry with Jing Tian, the female lead was AMAZING. Her character was also interesting, feisty and her endearing.

Dilraba and Yang Yang have no chemistry. Dilrabas character is supremely annoying. Both leads are stiff, awkward, and unlikable. The story line is dull, uninviting and haphazard. The characters have no depth and their first meeting is based on deception and is shallow and superficial. The deception continues right through indicating no ethics in the personality of Dilrabas character. Yang yang was magnificent in ‘who rules the world’ and had magnificent chemistry with zhao lusi in that series. In this drama he at least displays some acting ability in this drama but Dilrabas acting is cringe worthy. I’ve watched a few of her dramas and her acting has no depth whatsoever. she is shallow and annoying and cannot garner any chemistry with any of the male leads.

Amazing chemistry between the lead actors. Hundreds of sweet and passionate kisses. Interesting storyline. Wonderfully romantic. Best Chinese drama so far.

Majestic, Captivating and Compelling Viewing about friendship love and loyalty that took me on an emotional journey which throughout was visually masterful. Magnificently detailed casting / costume design / makeup / symbolisms. Haunting melodic music. A masterpiece that I could repeatedly watch, For me, Eclipsing all previous historical fantasy fiction / righteous adventures. My favorite line by Zewu Jun: "what constitutes humanity is not just about knowing black from white, right from wrong but to also know a persons deep intentions" - Anahita T
