I didn't enjoy the movie for numerous reasons. The casting was ridiculous, a young teenager played by Nayathara?? She looks too old for this character, no emotional connection nor could she express any emotions, so wooden. Overrated actress. The story was a mish mash of various ideas thrown together with no deep thought or plan. What a waste of time.

My 2 stars review are 1 for STR and 1 for Gautham Karthik. I think both these guys shld choose their movies carefully, don't agree to these tired old fashioned scripts...Personally, I feel Gautham Menon shld retire from acting and just direct. In every movie I've watched him in, he's so wooden and robotic, such a let down. Storyline is nothing exciting, too much emphasis on violence action scenes, and so much attention to the helicopter 😄. Overall, average movie.

I really enjoyed this Tamil movie. After countless disappointing Tamil movies, finally a well thought of storyline, beautifully portrayed by all the actors and actresses, it weaves a truly honest tale taking into account the reactions from both sides. Well done!

As a fan of Ajith, having watched him act in memorable roles in many movies in the past, I am very sad to see him act in this 'cartoon' like movie. This Thunivu movie lacks logic to begin with, followed by poor script and acting, even Ajith has such laughable lines, pathetic actually. The action sequences are a joke, they look so fake and comical. Please stop churning out these brainless movies, the audience must demand quality, not just some loud action movies with no substance. Do not waste your time with this movie.

Very disappointed to watch this movie. I expected so much as it has Trisha in the lead. However, the plot has so many flaws, acting is stiff, and the portrayal of a journalist is downright ridiculous as she shares personal information to someone she doesn't even know?? Give this a skip, not worth watching.

Sadly, none of the 9 episodes were worth their salt. Boring, slow, unappealing characters, forgettable storylines, mindless storylines, silly storytelling, poor acting, doesn't strike a chord, doesn't make you feel anything....i feel i just wasted my time watching episode after episode...hoping the next one will be better...unfortunately it never happened. Such a shame, i had big expectations and felt so let down. Give it a skip. These directors and actors need to step up their game!

I wanted to rate this movie 2 stars, but as the performance from both Arjun Das and Vinod Kishan was really good, I'm rating it a 3. The movie felt so drawn out, slow, and although there was an amount of suspense and thrill, and a fairly good amount of the supernatural factor, the ending left me with a "what??? I spent this much time to have such a corny ending?? The ending/explanation for what happened was so rushed and weak...such a disappointment. But kudos to the actors: Arjun and Vinod! Really strong acting, without them, the movie might have been a super boring thing!

Dialogues were unconvincing and sounded fake. Karthi looked creepy and crazy when he was trying for an intense look. Aditi was gorgeous but too much soul searching yearning looks made it unbearable after awhile. The domestic violence issue wasnt potrayed enough, just touch n go. Expected more from a ManiRatnam film. Too slow and boring for me.
