Overall this is a great videogame, the only issue is when I'm in the middle of a turn in closes the game and I have to restart the turn, I have a $1000+ PC and it handles the game well (Minus the fan speeds) but besides the fan speeds it's ok.
I feel like Humankind should add lower graphics for people who aren't able to play games like people with over $1000 dollar PCs' can. It just seems a bit unfair how they have such a limited area of playing spaces, For example ; I was waiting for Humankind to come out on Xbox Gamepass for months and they never released the game on the Gamepass (It was only released for PC gamepass.). I just want them to add a lower graphics option to make it less exclusive and for them to release it on to the Xbox Gamepass so more people could play (Yet I'm thinking that that would be a bit hard to play.).
This game is more like Hearts of Iron 4 than anything else, it just is different by developing your nations and evolving over time (Also like HOI4 but a bit different.) and only after playing for about 5 - 6 hours in my game felt like there was no purpose because there was a glitch where I couldn't un-vassal myself and I had taken over my oppressor multiple times over and it just doesn't make sense for this game to be out for 3 years and still fail to have a working game. (If you have high criteria like me for games like this you would be upset too.) At this point it's just wasting space on my computer because of the excessive gigabytes of storage needed for this game. It takes up over 30 - 80 gigabytes of my computer storage just for this game alone. I have 1 terabyte and more of storage but I just think this seems like a bargain on your computer especially since the crashing issue it has.
Honestly, I think people are just better off playing HOI4 or CIV because this game sucks, the storyline doesn't really go anywhere and it's basically just rinse and repeat because all you do is declare wars, move units, choose civilizations every era, and be a puppet (Vassal) and have nothing else to do because of a glitch found in the game's coding. (No matter how many independence wars you do against your oppressor).
I expected a bit more of Sega than to partnership with such a terrible game like this one, because of all the issues. I say they stop worrying about Sonic and start worrying about this game, because if it was just a tad bit better, I'm pretty sure the playerbase would be more vast and spread across all platforms, continents, and on top of that they would also have better ratings.
Thanks,
Bob Hartmann
