No spoilers. There's lots of Bernsteins accomplishments to rifle through online. And his general story as an artist is broadly known. So this movie takes a look at the life behind the scenes; the agreement between spouses and it's complexities and challenges. This is not a greatest hits style biography. Performances and cinematography are outstanding. Cooper does his greatest work. Leonard's voice as it ages is great. Mulligans work is brilliant and compelling. Scenes are shot to look like each particular era. Now I want to know more.

Poorly written plot. Lots of spectacularly muddled fx to fill the lack of content. I've seen all the Marvel movies. Not all the characters can find the perfect casting (IronMan), or the right director to bring them to life. First time I've been seriously disappointed. Even the bottom of the Marvel barrel is still a fun time for the money. This one slips a bit below that.
