So I was excited to watch this movie since it was supposed to based on part of the Ramayan when Ravan kidnapped Sita Maa. However, they deviated so far away from the actual story. First, I noticed that the actor that portrayed Sri Ram wore sandals. In the Ramayan, the original and remake in 2008, and 2013, he wore chapal. Next they wore common clothes simple and made from cotton. Kriti wore silk saris, and they used a lot of CG. The actual story had a lot of actual scenery. In the actual story, written by Swami Tulsidas, wrote that Hanuman Baba took the form of a Bramhin to greet Lord Ram. This movie was no where near what I was expecting it to be. I'll give it 2 stars. Just because. But the director needs to watch the original and try again.
