Extremely entertaining, smart and gripping. One of the first films where the characters regularly interrupt one another's lines - just as happens in real life. One of the best of the spate of very good 1950s science fiction films in response to the nuclear age. The interplay and conflict among the interests represented in the story line (science; journalism and the military) is predictive of what we see today. The acting and direction are too notch
