One of the most harrowing films I've ever seen. The depiction of just pure and wanton violence, especially the shooting and burning of a house/barn, filled with women and children, underscores how vicious the Nazis were on the Eastern front.

It sucked--royally. Like most wannabe remakes, its entire premise was re-worked to make it fit the director's needs. It would have worked better if they film had stuck to the original U.N.C.L.E.'s mission fighting Thrush. It bombed in the theater.

This film is the genesis behind Star Wars. It has two peasants that are the roots of C3PO and R2-D2. It has a princess that needs protection, a samurai dedicated to her, and the Hidden Forest is the Death Star.

Anything with Michael Eric Dyson in it can't be good. When I saw that he'd written the preface to White Fragility, I knew the book was BS without reading it. When I finally read the book my suspicion was confirmed.

Really shows how the justice systems works: go after the little guys while the big boys walk.
