I'm sorry but I thought this book was mundane and I can't tell you how many times authors use the cliche of "she or he dug their nails into their palms" but sure enough this book used it. Another pet peeve of mine is when an author uses freçkles as a way of describing a character. It's amazing how many characters in fiction are freckled.
