I seriously don’t understand the 5 star reviews for this film, I got duped into watching a 2hour 10 min film which said a whole lot of nothing. People please stop reviewing movies for agenda politics, race, gender ect ect. I was expecting a lot considering all the 5* and was left very disappointed. The movie always feels like it’s building you up for a major scene but you’re left utterly underwhelmed when it all happens. The cast did okay with what they had and can’t fault them for a poor script. It definitely has the vibes of a low budget film, the strange flashbacks to that damn monkey that goes insane was useless and a poor attempt at character build.. I could go in and list all the cons but I’d end up spoiling a whole lot of nothing anyway. If you’re interested go see it but if you genuinely want a good movie I’d avoid this one. All the people giving this a 5* based on anything other than the quality of the movie should ashamed of themselves it’s 2022 we need to leave these things behind. If however by some miracle you actually managed to enjoy this movie then my bad and I hope I caused no offence.
