Loved the book. I feel like RR came into his stride on this Trials of Apollo series with this one.
SPOILERS AHEAD.
Unlike many other reviews here, I really liked how Jason's death was handled. It was unexpected and really served to cement the danger that the Triumvirate and Caligula (favorite villain of the three btw) poses. Also, I don't think it was ever meant to be flashy. After all, it's about loss, not spectacle.
Can't wait to get started on Book 4!!
