My review:
Movie: Aravinda sametha. / Veera raghva
What's new? - Nothing other than some good dialogues from Trivikram.
What works? - NTR, And few goosebumps moments, bgm, climax.
What doesn't? - story(is there one?), Overacting Jagapathi babu, not so gorgeous Pooja, Esha Rebba(why was she there at all?), dragging monotonous scenes., songs, etc
Coming to the movie, old wine in new bottle. Two warring faction families, the scion of one comes back to village to see the death of his father in a gory fight scene at the start of the movie. He is told by his grandmother to leave the place and stop the wars. How he does it forms the rest of the movie.
Now I know whats ur next question. Where does Aravinda come in here? Right?
Well as it always happens in all movies the hero falls for the girl and it's this girl who gives h the idea that it's not enough to convince urself but ur enemy too, to stop a war.
Well I thought it's a no brainer. Anyways how it all ends u can guess.
It's not that the movie doesn't have it's moments. It does in the second hlf, and the climax, but if that's enough for it to sustain at the box office is something to watch out for.
I would have gone with a 3 ,if it was any other director, but since it was trivikram and I expected much better from him, I will go with 2.75 stars
