Tries so hard to be a unique movie but falls in the trap of the in-your-face-sex scenes, and misses enphasis in conveying the message intended by the novel. This is not even artistic, for sure not a Shape of Water or Birdman, although it tries to become such a type of film. It could've been so much better than what it came to be.
