I think the series is great and much more realistic than the 1950s-60's version with Raymond Burr. I liked those as a kid and they're still a lot of fun, but the characters were completely one dimensional with no nuance. This version is much better. There was just too much of an elapse of time between Season 1 and Season 2. It was difficult to get a rapport with the characters because of the time that elapsed. It's a quality show though, and like I said, a reflection of how things really are instead of the sanitized version. I'm seriously hoping there will be a Season 3 and beyond. Maybe introduce Lt. Tragg.
