SPOILER ALERT(SORT OF)!!!
If you like chick flicks this is definitely a weird way of making one. A sex addicted journalist and an escort (an expensive high grade hooker) meet each other at a bar because she thought he was a client of hers. They have a weird interaction after he finds out what she was up to and they split ways. The journalist was having a hard time paying rent in time because he had just been fired for having sex with all the interns. He eventually finds a job but has to prove to his employer that he is worth hiring. His solution to writing a good story is the escort. Through an agreement between them, if he acts like her pimp she will give him information about her life. Through spending so much time together they learn about each other’s deep secrets. In the end, two people, who no one would ever think would fall in love, do the impossible.
The only problem is, nothing in this movie was surprising at all. From the moment they met you could have already guessed what would happen next through the rest of the movie. I didn't mind watching the movie because it shows a different way in created a chick flick. Instead of two very priveleged people finding love, it shows the complete opposite. Another reason why I liked the movie is because it shows how two completely imperfect human beings can find love while also showing the issues that are most common in our present society.
