This game was great. The story mode started off very well and easy, but it begins to get bad as soon as you get to the first tournament. The first enemy is almost impossible to beat. I can't even count the amount of times I had to do a rematch. The only way in which I beat him was to get about 20 levels ahead and I still barely won. The second enemy was easier, but then you have to fight a third even more difficult fighter to finish that chapter; the hardest part about it is that there aren't even any checkpoints, so if you somehow beat the first two enemies (which is already very hard) and lose to the last enemy, you have to start from the beginning.
After this chapter, the game does get a little bit easier until you have to fight against another enemy on a rooftop, which was also incredibly difficult. Being even 20 levels ahead from a character named Rudra, it took me multiple days to finally defeat him. And as I thought that after beating it the game would become easier, it makes you go to another tournament that is also way harder even if you are many levels ahead of the enemy, and there are also no checkpoints.
At this point I just deleted the game.
If you are wondering, I did choose the "hard" difficulty setting, but I was just expecting the game to be a little bit hard since it was not even the highest difficulty. From what I am aware, there is no way to change the difficulty, so it is not possible for me, only a casual gamer wanting to be a little bit challenged, to get my money's worth since there is no way to finish the game if not an uncountable amount of hours be put into finishing the game.
Even with playing a great amount of 56 hours into trying to level up, I only got to chapter 12, so if anyone just trying to play the game casually for the story and to have fun, I would recommend to play on easy mode.
Other than the story mode, the fighting mode was just ok. The arcade story mode was the best part in my opinion which was just pretty good. This mode just plays a little cutscene and matches you against random characters,
Another good thing (of the few) that I would mention about this game is that you can get a good laugh from the character creation in the story mode, but I don't think that makes it worth $60.
In conclusion, this game is too unfair.
