SPOILERS AHEAD:
The end of a beloved franchise that never got the broader appreciation it deserved. The biggest flaw of the film is the late replacement with Jamie Kennedy's Travis, Burt's newest sidekick and long-lost son of the previous two films, with Jon Heder as a Jimmy, a Burt fanboy. The plot is intriguing enough: a biotech company genetically engineers Graboids for 1%er trophy hunting. But in Jurassic Park fashion, they don't account for the possibility of mutations if the new Graboids live long enough to grow into Shriekers. Everything predictably goes to hell, and it's up to Burt to once again rescue everyone. This time, the last Graboid takes him down with her. Sad to end the franchise with the death of the lead character, but that's the most proper way to end it.
