Personally I love this show, but it’s only because I’m willing to do the very heavy lifting of gaining context. Anyone who has never read the comic will not know what the hell is going on. The show runner assumes MUCH MORE than they should about their audience. I recommend some kind of valuable research prior to watching if you know nothing about Watchmen do yourself a favor and check out Alt Shift ax’s video “Watchmen Explained” on YouTube.
