I'm from Generation X, and grew up on all things Transformers. I had mixed feelings about this movie, however I went into it with an open mind giving Chris Hemsworth a shot at playing Optimus. I find it refreshing to see an origin of Optimus and D16. Or should I say Orion Pax. which I'm familiar with the lore. From the Autobots to the Dinobots to the maximals. To the Decepticons, the destructicons, and the Predacons. From Orion pax, to Optimus Prime, to Rodimus Prime, and Optimus primal. Originating from Megatronis Prime, and ending up with D16. Transforming into Megatron and finally Galvatron. I also appreciate the fact that they took the time to explain the origin of the Decepticons. Orion and D16 meeting and becoming like brothers. To the separation and the transformation of both, and I was on the fence at first. However, I really appreciate Chris Hemsworth giving his best to sound like Peter Cullins at the end. To all the haters of this movie, keep an open mind, and you're wrong. All the true blue fans of the Transformers franchise, whom grew up watching the Animated Series, playing with the toys, and watching all the movies. The newer Transformers with Rodimus, beast wars, and Beast Machines as well as all the other incarnations over the years. Not all of them have been winners, but a lot of them have been really good and follow the Transformer lore.

The substance seemed promising at first but it was a major letdown the poster promised gruesome and it was not delivered this movie was an absolute garbage ball

SPOILER ALERT: The movie was absolutely horrible...how it got a high score dumbfounded me. No real back story,what little there is doesn't explain anything. You never find out why the locket means so much to Johnny. The acting was completely awful. Most of the movie is spent with the killer, Johnny, walking around the forest. He kills a guy,then drags the body for no apparent reason, to the rangers station. Then takes an axe and some hooks,which he doesn't even use hardly. Kills 2 lesbians for no apparent reason. After awhile 2 of the college kids end up at the rangers station, the ranger gets killed obviously. While the ranger is being killed,instead of taking his truck..which is running already, to escape, they take a can of gas and a bear trap. Why? I don't know, they never use the items. The girl is running at night through the forest,not even being pursued by Johny, suddenly it cuts to the morning and the girl has a stick stuck in her leg. No explanation of how it ended up there. Ends with her being driven to the hospital. No more Johnny,it was like he was just an after thought.... dumbest movie ever... watch at your own peril...
