I genuinely dont understand some of the people in this review section. most of them are either middle aged parents who dont understand the show, probably becuase they didnt pay attention, or kids who cannot for the life of them comprehend an intresting storyline and diverse, intricate charaters. Its dissapointing so see so many comments about how confusing and annoying the show is. i wasnt even alive in the 80s but it felt so nostalgic and intresting! i loved the charaters and the story, it felt like "The Goonies" mixed with quantum jumping and physics, dark twists and an impending sense of peril that left me on the edge of my seat And as for the people claiming the sex or gore was too intense clearly have never watched a good show before. What did you expect the demogorgon to do to the kids? sit them down and have a polite debate??? i watched most of sesons 1-2 with my 11 year old brother, he was not affected in any way by the minimal violence and gore, and actually throughly enjoyed the show, its actually one of our favourite things to talk about now! also these charaters are mainly teenagers, and teenagers do teenage stuff, why are people mad about this? the show was so realistic and compelling. Its also not a show for kids or for older adults. its aimed at the ages 13-25 and if you didnt enjoy it then its obviously not for you. its won countless awards and recives so much praise. some people dont like sci-fi or horror or drama, and thats fine, but dont complain about things like the behaviour of charaters or the plot if you perosnally didnt understand or like it. As i'm writing this there is 1 day, 2 hours, and 22 mintes untill stranger things season 4, and im so exited i can barely sit still I LITREALLY CANT WAIT <333 anyway, if your thinking of watching stranger things and your scrolling through this review section, DO IT!!! if it sounds like your thing, watch it right now!! its one of the best shows ive ever watched and no show has honestly ever made me feel the same! stan mr will byers btw he deserves so much better edit: season 4 was incredible and im so exited for part 2 <333
