Although it was written by Roald Dahl, I find this story to be really boring! It was a drag. Every part of the story is stretched and stretched like it will never progress further. He gets stuck on one idea ( like when Danny drives the car) and keeps talking about it for ever. It made me fall asleep several times. Also the story makes poaching/stealing to be a good act. I don’t understand how some readers found it interesting.🤔 I usually read books to recommend them to my grandchildren. I certainly will not recommend this book to them.👎👎
