Sadly, other than the costumes and fun dance routines this movie is an embarrassment to the original. Every cliché, stereotype, and modern social issue is folded into this pot of slapstick stew. If it was an attempt to spoof the original - maybe.... Worse than that; the moral lessons are upside down. "Ghetto behavior is better than proper manners" and "women are smarter and stronger than men"... (that part I won't debate - but this is overboard)... The script and plot were hacked together by someone who should have left it to more experienced folks... I'm guessing who that was.... This sequel should have never been produced but there were moments of cheap laughs and if you watched it home maybe worth a wasted evening... if you paid money at a theater you left feeling totally ripped off.
