I rarely write reviews and felt compelled to do so. I’m not a movie or TV critic or junkie. I do love organized crime and Mafia though, and Snowfall really scratched the itch in a way that was really unique for me.
I think a 4.6 is more warranted. It has some flaws such as kind of glossing over some of the day-to-day stuff of the journey arch.
The script for me got a little slow (and repetitive) at times. But it’s worth pushing through, especially the middle seasons (3-4ish).
What stood out to me consistently over the entire series: the acting. You get a pretty deep glimpse into each of the major characters that I think builds empathy, and shows how different their personalities and objectives are.
