This is the Dune I've been waiting for - all the right pacing and scale that pay a loving tribute to Frank Herbert's novel, with nods to both Jodorowsky and Lynch. Being a lifelong fan of the entire series, the complexity and subtext are intact for us, but most importantly, my partner, who is not familiar with the Dune-verse, was way into it too. Not an easy task with such dense source materials.

They took the spirit of Super Troopers, added some new talent, and created something both familiar and decidedly new. Oh yeah, and it's really funny, too. Kudos to Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme for finding the right mix. This talented fractured team from Broken Lizard has captured that same feeling I've come to expect, and, admittedly, have always been jealous of - gather you're closest friends, create something great, and have a helluva lotta fun doing it.
