It's very simple...if you like Rick & Morty...you will love this even more!

I liked this show...it appeals on an emotional level to everyone, in that we would probably all want to exact revenge on someone who killed our dearest loved ones and friends...but beyond that it's Chris Pratt that carries our emotions. He has an amazing screen persona that makes you want to root for him. He can appear vulnerable whilst also being believable as a grade A action hero. It's an amazing skill. The show itself is well produced and the supporting cast is generally strong too. Taylor Kitsch is really underused in his role. The only negative I had was the continual flashbacks that Pratt's character saw...while I understand they formed a central part of the story, they were too repetitive and too long...especially in the latter episodes. By then we understood the Pratt character's pain and his condition and didn't need to be reminded of it quite so often imo. Overall though...a very good watch!

Quite simply the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. In every way...plot, dialogue, acting...just horrendously bad.

So, I'm an admitted lover of comic books (or graphic novels as I describe them to adults) and I love all the different versions of superhero movies that have come out since original Batman in the 90's. Turning to Watchmen...which we can all agree is a slightly different genre...I loved the Zak Snyder film and was really excited to see this reboot series. So what's my view? Well I dont love it as much as the movie but it is really well produced, well acted and has a big budget. Most importantly, it keeps me coming back just to see where a quite complicated storyline is going to go! The only criticism I have is that each episode seems to be getting slower and less things seem to be happening...but I am more than prepared to bear with it just to see more of Jeremy Irons brilliantly ham-fisted performances! So the jury is currently out on whether this is a classic GoT type series but it's worth a watch, especially for comic geeks!

First 10 mins you think, “wow, this looks like quite an interesting film....”. Last 10 mins you think, “I wonder how much they paid Bruce Willis to be in this pile of dross....?” In between those two points a seemingly decent plot line gets more and more consulted and confused before you can’t work out who did what, to whom and why. Avoid.

I’m a huge Luther fan and was hoping that the new season would be the highlight of the beeb’s xmas/ny schedule. Alas, the writing was not as tight as the previous seasons. This meant that that the storyline, which started brilliantly in episode 1, became a bit mixed and muddled before finally finishing a little clumsily at the end of episode 4. Acting from Idris Elba, and Dermot Crowley as Schenk was on point and Vivien Lake was brilliant, yet woefully under used in her role as a psycho version of Lady Macbeth. I was honestly expecting her to provide the “twist” at the end by outfoxing Luther but I was left unsatisfied as her character was arrested and processed in a very normal way. Also, hate to say it but I was also disappointed with the return of Ruth Wilson as Alice. I can’t quite put my finger on whether it was the writing or the actress but the character seemed to have lost her ability to be deranged and lovable at the same time. Overall I would still give it 3 out 5 stars but it’s the weakest season by far in my opinion. [Oh and note to the director - I have never seen the streets of London so deserted of cars and people - made it all a little unbelievable!!]
