A Facebook group "Electric Literature" suggested this, a documentary dated 1990 by a much loved writer Douglas Adams, and much loved actor Tom Baker... I switch to Youtube - it's all there, in PAL with very few VHS glitches ... and now 26mins13sec into the show, during a segment about Picasso' Guernica... I'm commenting - in another window, on another montior... How apropos on the theme of this show. How far we have come to this vision since 1990 - this wasn't only truly visionary - it qualifies IMO as an historical document.

It is emotional. Starts as a cringe comedy about the absurdity of the "no women allowed" rules in Iranian football stadium - and the extreme lengths that female football fans to go to gain entry to a WC qualifier. And at the very end - we the know the result, Iran won and qualified for World Cup finals - I barely remember what happened after that it was pure pandemonium - very emotional.
