The actor is too old for this role and the character's age doesnt match the real comic book one. Being a mastermind and crime lord needs a genuis and very smart man and this joker doesnt have any of that, by the way the performance of pheonix in this movie is great and we can see the pain in his character and his face. The movie is not a great one but not a bad one either
