Hugoose De Waal

This game is easily the worst endless ocean game. It barely even qualifies as an endless ocean game. Procedurally generated environments are awful. They are!!! They remove the mystery of ocean exploration entirely. Most of the ocean is just flat terrain with occasional coral and rocks. The fish are just "there". It's not like in the old games where they geographically made sense. There's no air tank or cool upgrades like the first two games either. There's zero threat and zero sense of wonder. The story isn't even anything. Having to boringly scan 500 creatures to progress the story is the most uninteresting thing ever. The music is eh. The only thing I liked was having non motion controls in an endless ocean game. I despise this game. The biggest steamy pile of doodoo I've played in a while. Minus 10000/10
