Guthli Ladoo has showcased the life reality or I should say'ordeal' of large section of our society i.e. discrimination on the basis of caste, which still prevails in the country and is exercised openly. The movie has targetted a topic of education (right to education) and has done well to convey the message. What more could have been helpful is the legal consequences which an oppreser can face in case found guilty. This would have worked as an information, an eye, a guiding path to many. However, it doesn't end here, Discrimination is exercised through out the country in every field from schooling to higher education to jobs and God knows what not. One just has to disclose the caste he/she belongs to and the ordeal will begin either directly or indirectly.
