I’m not Greek but in highschool I became friends with a large hardcore authentic Greek family originally from Tarpon Spring’s FL (Large Greek population) this was in Tampa however close to Tarpon. I went to all of their holiday parties and ethnic festivals. Christmas, Easter ect for many years even after college and it concluded when I moved away from Tampa.
This film does not depict what for years I observed Greek American’s, in their homes, in their church or in their communities to be.
The first film definitely gets it spot on Lol.
The humor in this one just seems too thirsty trying to be funny.
As soon as I saw Tom Hanks had something to do with production it explained why it’s no where near as good as the first, he’s a great actor but needs to stick to acting not producing..
Not the worst movie I’ve ever seen but certainly far from good. Give it a watch & judge for yourself if you’ve seen the first and second.
