Though I was born a few years after the film came out, my dad was a massive fan of this movie. I grew up watching this movie with dad. I watched it again the other day and I still love it, it is an interesting story and also being big fan of Queen, I think the songs that they wrote for the movie just fit in with it all so well. I hope the reboot doesn't stray to far from the original and they use some of the songs from it.
