Probably one of his best for gripping drama, violent criminal behavior, corruption, & Joe Pickett hunches. It’s a read so full of constant twists & surprises. Maybe not the best to read just before bedtime. Avid CJ Box followers will once again be led on a journey into the world of Joe Pickett & the wild west life.

They bartend in a rough drinking bar & encounter aggressive behavior in the middle of nowhere mining town. Julia Garner of Ozarks series makes this drama thriller. But nothing can save the lackluster ending.

Excellent who dunnit drama with twists n turns, including emotional honesty vs childhood innocence, and is truth most important vs protecting your kids. A real white knuckle grabber. Actors are all first class.
