This new movie is inaccurately billed as a "romcom." Not much comedy here. The romance is steamy enough to make Anne feel pretty good about being over 40, but made me feel like the whole thing was a vanity project for her benefit. The implausible romantic plot created early on devolves into a predictable dramatic dilemma. Boring!
