While the production values are good and so are the performances, the plot is ragged and the many elements of farcical behavior are too cryptic. A pity Phoenix’s performance is wasted here.

Excellent cast and storytelling.

It’s not just the stellar acting by Oldman, Scott Thomas, and Price, but the storytelling, the dialogue, and the production values. Simply brilliant!
